EdLambda is an Edinburgh group for people interested in functional programming which has been running since September 2010.  We meet at the Skyscanner's offices on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7pm. We occasionally meet at other venues, which will be detailed in the email to the mailing list and in the "Coming Up" entry for the event. There is usually a talk on a subject of interest to functional programmers, followed by chat and drink!  EdLambda meetups are free events and everyone is welcome.

Please follow us to be informed of upcoming meetups.

The intention for EdLambda is to be a regular social event for anyone interested in FP (functional programming), regardless of experience or background.  The main purpose of our talks is to spark interesting pub conversation and to spread some interesting ideas, we don't expect the talks to always be serious talks but it's fine if they sometimes are.  Talks cover a wide range of experiences with FP, and anyone is welcome to come speak.
